My Story
At House of Care Services, we are proud to be a domiciliary care company that supports people in our community to live independently in their own homes. Every day, our team sees first-hand the strength, courage, and resilience of the people we care for and their families.
Throughout our work, we have also seen just how vital the support of Macmillan Cancer Support can be. Cancer affects so many lives, and the impact goes far beyond medical treatment. It touches families, carers, friends, and entire communities.
Macmillan provides compassionate support when people need it most — whether that’s practical advice, emotional support, financial guidance, or simply someone who understands what they are going through. For many of the people we support, and for members of our wider community, Macmillan has been there during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
That’s why we have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. As a care provider, supporting people through difficult moments is at the heart of what we do, and this charity shares that same commitment to helping people live as well as possible with cancer.
