My Story
This year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning is especially meaningful for us, as we are hosting it in memory of Linda Smith.
Linda was the founder and former CEO of BetaDen, and a driving force in the technology community here in Worcestershire and beyond. She was the one who first started our annual Coffee Morning during her time with us, bringing people together over cake and conversation to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Linda’s connection to this cause was deeply personal. She faced cancer with incredible courage, beating it twice in the past, before sadly passing away from the illness in June this year.
Her energy, generosity, and commitment to helping others left a lasting mark on our team and our wider community. Even after she moved on from her role, we continued the tradition she began - and this year, we are proud to dedicate it to her memory.
